It’s definitely not for everyone but if you’re “okay” with reading taboo romances I think PD would be the author to check out (or so I’ve heard). The underlying threat was kind of pushed to one side then remembered right at the end and the relationship choices just didn’t make sense to me.

anyway, so tiernan isn’t very good with people and tALkiNg because of how her parents ignored her all the time when they were alive, so it’s a big deal for her to go live in the snowy cabin with her uncle and cousins (who thank god aren’t related by blood by the way), and can you guess what happens? and i knew that this would be longish, and that’s one of the reasons i didn’t read it at first, but then i thought, you know what? It gets quite angsty at times and that increases as the chemistry between these characters grow and as they fight that attraction. noah did confuse me sometimes though because he acted all tough and bad or whatever but then was really gentle and chill the next second so that was kinda weird, it’s like the author couldn’t decide exactly what they wanted him to be like.
