Description

Good quality product, delivered super quick with no damage, picture quality to be expected for 80's TV but good nostalgic enjoyment nonetheless. Meanwhile Jan's fashion career goes from strength to strength and Leo proves that if you believe in something it's worth fighting for, but what's happened to heart broken Lynne? The disc will play perfectly without interruption and the case, inlay notes and sleeve may show limited signs of wear. The story lines focus mainly on dirty dealings in business and sailing; it's somewhat similar to 'Dallas' or 'Dynasty' but the acting and plots are much better. Maurice Colborne (Gangsters) stars as Tom Howard, recently made redundant as an aircraft designer, who decides to ply his trade in the world of boats instead; taking the reins at a run-down local construction yard.Extras: Language(s): English, Hard of Hearing Subtitles: English, Interactive Menu, Screen ratio 1:1.

It's a product of it's time but that's no bad thing - brought back memories of watching the original broadcasts on Sunday evenings during the 1980s. I missed some of it when it was first broadcast and quite enjoyed it when it was repeated in the early 2000s. Who can forget the exciting yacht and powerboat races, the in-fighting of big (and small) business, high fashion rivalries, not to mention the human side of family ups and downs, sordid affairs and personal betrayals. A cult series in its own right, Howards' Way featured the original theme tune composed by Simon May, with tales of love, deceit, family trials and tribulation, it really is classic television at its best. There's romance, of course, but no 'bedroom' scenes and no bad language; the only violence is an occasional fist-fight.
