Aunque no es una mala edición no me ha gustado el tamaño, creo que es demasiado pequeño y, a menudo, me costaba leer algunos de los textos más pequeños. Judge Dredd" is the most popular title of the British science fiction anthology 2000 AD, and this first volume collects the title's earliest stories from 1977-78. Archie Goodwin, Gerry Conway, Mimi Gold, Allyn Brodsky, Mike Friedrich, Roy Thomas, Robert Kanigher, Gary Friedrich, Steve Gerber, Jim Starlin, Tom Orzechowski, Bill Mantlo, Len Wein, Roger Slifer, Jim Shooter, Herb Trimpe, Roger Stern, David Michelinie, Bob Layton, Peter John Palmer, Bill Everett, Dennis O'Neil, Roger McKenzie, Peter B.

Another bumper crop of cases for Dredd in this action-packed volume, collecting together some of the very best in 2000 AD thrills! g. faking Dredd's death, complete with a huge funeral procession (which presumably cost the city a lot of money), just to lure out a thief. This is still pretty rough around the edges, though, with my favourite Judge Dredd comic book stories being the long ambitious epic story arcs like "The Cursed Earth" and "The Day the Law Died" found in omnibus volume 2, or "The Judge Child" found in volume 4. Volume 11 features the writing of comic-book legends Alan Grant (Lobo) and John Wagner (A History of Violence) along with the work of such classic artists as John Ridgway (Dead Man), Steve Dillon (Preacher) and Jim Baikie (Skizz). With over half a million copies sold and featuring the best British comics talent of the 21st century, The Complete Case Files is the comprehensive collection of Judge Dredd, the lawman of the future!

One thing lead to another and now, I have to freely admit that I believe I have found a comic book I can truly say I like. Full details of your rights under the Distance Selling Regulations are available in the UK from your local Citizens' Advice Bureau or your Local Authority's Trading Standards Office. Featuring the writing of 2000 AD supremos Alan Grant (Lobo) and John Wagner (A History of Violence) and the work of such classic artists as Steve Dillon (Preacher), Cam Kennedy (Star Wars) and Ian Gibson (Halo Jones), this is the perfect collection for all discerning comic fans! Still, there is potential here, and the highly polished Brian Bolland artwork that starts to appear towards the book's end is a real treat.

The second part, sadly, is drawn by Simon Coleby, who is not a patch on Dillon, and the story suffers accordingly. So, this is a bit like the old SF stories where people would get into their space-car and eat space-biscuits for their space-lunch.Alongside Pat Mills, Wagner was responsible for revitalising British boys' comics in the 1970s, and has continued to be a leading light in British comics ever since. The following stories originally appeared in 2000AD Prog 1302 - Prog 1335 and Judge Dredd Megazine 4. This is probably why, even though I enjoy the Marvel movies and The Walking Dead, I have never been one to try and get the entire history behind them or compare original stories with the movie version or what's on TV. on Wolverine — Millar brought the same fast-paced and cleverly constructed plots with which his Ultimate fans were already familiar. Dredd is a law enforcement officer in the futuristic North American Mega-City 1, empowered to pass death sentences or jail terms on the job. With the body-count rising and hope running out, will the Judges be able to turn back the tide of death?Dredd, of course, always gets his man and is on the side of justice no matter what, but this early Dredd is a bit of a goody two-shoes compared to the mid-80s onwards Dredd. Gibson particularly enjoys the robots and it’s unsurprising that Tharg moved him to Robo Hunter where his ridiculous and hilarious imagination at dumb robots could take flight; Bolland must have been a revelation with those clear lines and use of chunky blacks and it’s fascinating to see that he’s the one who streamlines the helmet into the familiar one we have today. It was in this environment that Millar made his first major contribution to Marvel with Ultimate X-Men, as Millar integrated forty years’ worth of X-Men history, characters and lore into a solid two-year run, making the companion title to Ultimate Spider-Man every bit the creative and commercial success.
