Throwing off the shackles of expectations, focusing on the things they love the most about making music together and delivering their biggest, boldest and most brilliantly noisy statement yet. But, whatever your preconceptions of a band like McFly, their musical accolades are undeniable, racking up seven UK No. Power To Play, their seventh studio album, is gleefully unencumbered by commercial aspirations, and utilises a series of explosive rock arrangements while delving into topics such as nostalgia, mental health, love and that rock ‘n’ roll which just won’t go away. That statement is 'Power To Play', an all-out celebration of rock music in all forms that takes McFly back to the very reason they started their journey in the first place. The band reformed as McFly – but much to the disappointment of fans, announced a hiatus which can often be synonymous with a breakup.Tom Fletcher, Danny Jones, Harry Judd and Dougie Poynter are taking things into their own hands in a way they never anticipated.

singles, five top-10 albums, six sold-out tours, and 10 million in record sales worldwide during their near-20-year career. We carry a broad range of CDs and vinyl (7”/12” singles and LPs) and specialise in indie, alternative, rock, punk, metal plus a few other genres.Describing the record, the band added: "At the start of the process, we all got together and said what we wanted this new album to be. A routinely great artist, much of Sufjan's universal appeal comes from his skills as a gifted narrator, pairing personal musings on love and devotion with commentary on American culture, whilst welding folk and electronica, the ambient and existential. McFly look like they're going to have a busy autumn and winter, with lots of dates across the UK including in Southampton, Norwich and Newcastle. These adverts enable local businesses to get in front of their target audience – the local community.

Now with a massively successful US tour opening for sweet soul darlings Thee Sacred Souls behind him, 2023 is sure to be a propitious year for Daptone's newest signee. Likewise, an indie pop-punk take on the power of music needs a measure of jaded weariness to seem authentic.

We love being on tour and playing live, and we hate this weird pressure where you don’t get played on the radio if you have guitars in your songs. Once again, McFly seem to be a tad lost – if you’re going to go full vintage glam hugeness, you have to absolutely commit to it. If you would like to book accessible seating, your account with the Cambridge Corn Exchange must have a tag applied to it. The band, famed for their hits Obviously, 5 Colours in Her Hair, and Star Girl, previously played at the LCR in 2012 and at the UEA Sportspark in 2004, and band member Danny Jones played a solo gig at Norwich's Waterfront in 2019. Forever’s Not Enough provides an effective contrast between synth-led verses and overdriven hooks, a testament to fulfilling relationships with a little nod to The Darkness halfway through.
