The surface scratches which appear on stainless steel sinks rarely have any appreciable depth and will become less noticeable with age. A stainless steel sink will develop a patina with time and will look better a year after installation than during the first few months of use due to the fact that the scratching will have evened out. All sinks manufactured in stainless steel perform in exactly the same way in this respect be they Franke’s manufacture or by a competitor. Shiny sinks is the same as BKF, but half the price. We had a bottle of each, compared the creams and what they did and honestly, I could see no difference at all. ! The Shiny Sinks cleaner is an excellent stainless steel cream cleanser, which prevents limescale build-up if used regularly. For a streak-free finish, get the stainless steel sink completely dry with an extra absorbent microfibre cloth, like a Marigold Squeaky Clean Microfibre cloth. We recommend finishing things off by spraying a glass cleaner onto the steel and wiping it with a thin tea towel or J cloth to help it shine.

Club soda Simply fill a spray bottle full of club soda and spray down the sink. Be sure to wipe dry with a microfiber cloth and always wipe in the direction of the grain of the sink. It will get their attention and remind them where to put the dishes. Be patient! They have never been taught, either. It is going to take some practice. After wiping the sink down in the direction of the grain (if you can see it), rinse it thoroughly with warm water. Get rid of as many suds as possible and dry with a cloth. 4. Take a sharp edge, such as a butter knife, and clean around the rim of the sink, just like you would clean dirt out from under your fingernails. Now if you have a stainless steel sink, I recommend all of the above directions with one extra instruction added: after you soak your sink, rinse well, and use SOS pads to scrub it. This will buff the finish. It will look like new. Still, cleaning a stainless steel sink doesn’t just preserve its good looks. It also helps prevent corrosion, keeping the surface in its best possible condition. What’s the Best Way to Polish a Stainless Steel Sink?
